Our Policies
All workshops are registered and paid for in advance through Eventbrite. A confirmation email is sent immediately after registration. Please check your inbox and your spam folder for this confirmation and keep it for your records.
Space in each workshop is limited and assigned on a first come, first served basis. We recommend registering early, as popular sessions fill quickly.
If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us at least 72 hours before the scheduled workshop start time. Cancellations made 72 hours or more in advance receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the workshop are not eligible for a refund. We understand that plans change, and in these cases we encourage you to use the transfer option described below instead.
To cancel, email hello@makeitsewstudio.ca with your name and the workshop date. Refunds are processed back to the original method of payment within five business days.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please notify us by email at least 24 hours before the workshop with the name and email address of the person attending in your place. There is no fee for a transfer.
Make It Sew Studio workshops run as scheduled regardless of the number of participants registered. You do not need to worry about a session being cancelled due to low enrolment.
On rare occasions, a workshop may need to be cancelled by Make It Sew Studio due to severe weather, facilitator illness, or venue unavailability. If this happens, all registered participants receive a full refund automatically. We will also make every reasonable effort to offer a rescheduled date as an alternative.
